Enter your projects in the industry partner category for design excellence!   Projects entered will be judged on Implementation of  Design and the Project Designer will be acknowledged for their Contribution. The purpose of the ASID Design Excellence Awards Competition is to recognize and reward outstanding execution of design by ASID San Diego IP Chapter Members and to encourage and inspire new ideas and techniques.

1. Best Wall Treatment - faux finishing, plaster work, wallpaper, murals, etc.
2. Best Window Treatment - Overall window treatment. (films, drapery, blinds, designed glass, etc.)
3. Best use of Textiles - drapery, bedding, unique upholstery, etc.
4. Best use of Hard Surfaces – flooring, millwork, stone, iron work, landscapes, hardware, etc.
5. Best use of Sustainability – landscaping, products, fixtures, finishes, processes, etc..
6. Technology & Lighting - use and installation of fixtures, electrical components and home automation
