Mission statement

The Eco Committee directly supports chapter and national efforts to educate and inform people about Green practices. We seek to provide a central and compreshensive resource for sustainable interior design.  Through the dissemination and availablity of information we will foster the understading of what a sustainable interior design practice is, and what it will mean to a designer, a client and the community at-large.

We want to be  a valuable information and resource center for you. If you have information to share or want to write an article please send us an e-mail.

Are you a designer or IP member who cares about the environment? Are you interested in taking action to promote green practices?  If yes, then the Eco Committee is the place for you.  We are looking for designers and IP members commited to work as a team to foster the understanding of what a sustainable interior design practice is and what it means to our chapter and community.  Our meetings are held monthly at the ASID office and we have some exciting and innovative ideas for the 2012-2013 year. If you are interested please contact Faye Fentin.
